Brief description:
The villa it 's located near to a wonderful cliff on Ionio sea, in a typical fishing village, Calabernardo, at the mouth of the Asinara river. If you don’t like the cliff, you can easily reach the amazing “lido di Noto” sandy coast, included by “Lega Ambiente” in the list of the top ten Italian beaches. The villa it's located at about 5 km. from Avola, town of about 32,000 inhabitants famous all around the world for its finest “pizzuta ”almond and the nero d’ Avola, the product of Sicilian prince grapes, and at just 7 km. from Noto, the so called stone garden, a elegant baroque capital that boasts incredible religious and civil monuments, located in a spectacular scenery, patrimony of Unesco from 2002. In the direction of the hills, following the apposite indication, you can reach “Cava grande del Cassibile” , nature reserve deeply encased in rocks tending to the bottom, where flows the Cassibile river. Following the tourist traffic signals it will be easily to arrive at “ L ' eremo di San Corrado fuori le mura”(1749) , situated in the evocative “Valle dei miracoli”.
In 30 minutes you can get to Siracusa, chief town of province and one of the most beautiful in Italy especially from a historical and cultural point of view. Siracusa was in fact the fulcrum of the splendour of the “ Magna Grecia”. At the same distance but in the opposite direction there is Vendicari, damp area on the coast characterized by high biological vitality, natural reserve from 1984. In 15 minutes you can get to the discos of “Fontane Bianche” that are simply too amazing to miss.

To reach Libros’ villa , coming from Catania, just proceed in the direction of Siracusa, after that take the highway Siracusa-Gela and at the end of it take the road to Noto. Get out of the highway and follow the traffic signals towards Lido di Noto and Calabernardo. After going a long way you arrive at a small square, turn to the right and go along “Viale Sicilia n° 46” to reach Libros’ villa. You are arrived, park your car then ring the bell of Puglisi and Libros’.
