Mecenate Rooms is located in an elegant historical building in Via Mecenate, in the very heart of Rome.
The name Mecenate is linked to the famous "patron of the arts", who supported artists and poets, and reflects the historical heritage of this area of Rome.
Our entrance is an elegant living room, where we welcome our guests in a very friendly and familiar atmosphere.The neighbourhood is quiet, but also very central.
All the rooms, designed and furnished with great care given to every detail, are bright and comfortable.
Each room is independent, ideal for a stay respecting privacy. After the check-in you will receive the keys without time restrictions, but in the respect of our other guests.

Rooms
Our rooms, Orazio, Virgilio, Marziale and Giovenale, take their name from 4 artists, Mecenates's friends and members of his cultural circle.
For your comfort all our rooms are equipped with:

" En suite bathroom

Our guests will have the keys for the entrance door and the room door, so that they will be free to visit Rome also in the evening, and enjoy a walk at night!

Included in the prices: Satellite TV with LCD screen, ADSL or WIFI internet access, air conditioning/heating, safe, cosmetic bath products, hair conditioner and breakfast in your room. We offer a daily cleaning service, clean bed linens and towels at the arrival, and new ones every 3 days.

CHECK IN: We do not offer 24h reception so you are kindly requested to let us know your time of arrival at MR, at least one day prior. People arriving after 9 pm are requested to pay an extra of € 20

Location
Mecenate Rooms is located in the centre of Rome, in Via Mecenate 79. It overlooks the Colosseum (100 mt) which can be reached on foot through the wonderful Traiano Park . It is also near the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore,the Santa Prassede Church, the Roman Forum, the Domus Aurea and Rome's most famous shopping streets.
From Mecenate Rooms we invite you to have a walk through the Traiano Park, stopping at the typical small bar you will find next to the entrance. You will see through the park trees the Colosseum, the very symbol of Rome! After your visit to the Colosseum and the Traiano Arc, you can walk across the Imperial Forums Street, admiring the widest archaeological area of ancient Rome.
Walking through the streets of the historical centre, you will find the Venezia Square and the Campidoglio. In addition to your cultural visit, you can have a walk across Via del Corso, to find all the greatest shops of Rome. Don't forget to visit the famous Via Condotti, where you will find all the most important fashion brand's shops. Very close to this street there's the famous Fontana di Trevi, the Pantheon and the beautiful Piazza di Spagna.
